How To Translate A Webpage Or A Text If You Don’t Know Its Language

Posted by

Awhile ago, I received an email from someone but I couldn’t understand the message because the language used is different. Good thing there is Google Translate because even though I don’t know the language used, it can automatically detect the language and it will translate the text to your preferred language.

Email With Different Language Used

Just go to Google Translate and enter text or a webpage URL you want to translate. You can also upload a document if you want. Choose “Detect Language” in Translate from if you’re not sure about the language used and choose your preferred output language in Translate into.

Google Translate - Detect Language

Google Translate is really awesome because of its “Detect Language” feature because other translator services like Yahoo! Babel Fish doesn’t have this.

You can also install Google Translate on your website or blog so your readers will find it easy to translate your website in their own native language.
