When I bought my HTC Desire HD last month, I was very excited to use it but after a few days, my excitement was reduced due to its bad, slow, and unresponsive performance especially when viewing photos on the gallery. It was very far from what I’m expecting about the phone because its specs are really awesome and the reviews it get are all positive. I was about to return it to the shop where I bought it because I thought the device has a defect but after doing some “googling”, I found out that there is a software bug that causes the device to freeze. I’m not sure if it only happens on HTC Desire HD but if ever you’re using a different Android phone but also experiencing this freeze ups, you may also try to follow the simple solution on how to fix it.
The solution is just enable the USB Debugging Mode on your Android device. To do this, just go to your home screen, click Menu, then click Settings.
Go to Applications, choose Development then check USB debugging.
After enabling USB debugging, you’ll notice an immediate improvement in speed and responsiveness of the phone. Now, I’m starting to think that my HTC Desire HD is better than any other smartphones available on the market today!
Thanks a lot to Silicon Sparrow for sharing this great solution!
