Creating a backup file is very important especially if you’re upgrading your PC or changing your OS so that you can easily restore your files if something bad happens. Windows XP has its own backup program and here’s a tutorial from Microsoft on how to use the Windows XP Backup.

Aside from the Windows XP Backup, there are other free softwares like Snap Backup that add bells and whistles you won’t find in the basic Windows XP Backup utility.
