How many times have you forgotten your phone in your car or in your house and you just realized it when you’re in your office already? I know it sucks when this thing happens, especially if you’re waiting for an important text from your client, your boss, or from your partner. But actually, there’s a mighty tool that can help you out just in case you encounter this kind of situation. Check out Mighty Text, an app that lets you send and receive SMS right from your computer or tablet!

Mighty Text – Text from your computer or tablet

Mighty Text is a mighty Android app that allows users to text from their computer or tablet using their current phone number. It syncs with your Android phone and number so all your contact details will still appear every time you receive an SMS.

To use it, you just need to install the FREE app in your Android phone and in your browser. Currently, Mighty Text supports Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer only but support for Opera Browser is on its way! Once the app has been installed, launch Mighty Text on your phone and set it up by linking it with your Google Account. Once done, just launch the Mighty Text web app to start sending and receiving texts on your computer or tablet*!

The web app also comes with a search box that automatically displays the results while you are typing so you can easily find the SMS you’re looking for. In addition, it also has popup notifications so you can easily be notified if there are new texts received or incoming phone calls*. You can also dial your contact’s phone number from the Mighty Text web app.

* In order to accept the call, you need to use your phone.

Another great feature of Mighty Text is its capability to send text messages up to 10 people at once! Let’s face it, it’s still much better, easier, and faster to compose messages using the computer’s keyboard than the phone’s touch screen.

I’ve been using Mighty Text for more than a month now and so far, it’s working very well and I don’t even care now if I left my phone in my house. I just need to make sure that our WiFi connection is always on so I can still send text messages without touching my phone.
