Get HTC Sense 3.0-Like Lockscreen With Agile Lock

Posted by

I was really amazed the first time I saw the video ad for HTC Sensation that comes with the latest version of HTC Sense, 3.0. What really caught my attention is its unique lockscreen which lets you unlock the phone by just dragging the ring upward or quickly open your favorite applications by dragging the app icon inside the ring. To make it more clear, just watch the video below of the HTC Sense 3.0 lockscreen.

It looks cool right? Actually, I was really happy when I found out that I can also get it for my HTC Desire HD or other Android phones out there by using an app called Agile Lock, which mimics the style and look of the HTC Sense 3.0 lockscreen.

Agile Lock

Agile Lock is a great Android lockscreen application that allows users to experience the beauty of the HTC Sense 3.0 lockscreen. It has two versions: Free and Full. If you really want to enjoy the app, I highly suggest you get the Full version (costs $1.30) so you can customize the shortcuts, fonts, background, etc.

Agile Lock - Settings

Tip: If you want to get the Full version without spending a single cent, you can earn it by just trying out a few applications. To do this, just launch Agile Lock Free and click Free Earn Points. Then once you reach 300 points, click Consume 300 points to use all functions to unlock all the settings.

Agile Lock - Free Version

Agile Lock, by default, sets your current wallpaper/live wallpaper as its background image. However, you can also use a different one for the lockscreen if you’re using the full version.

Another limitation in the free version is that you can not change the shortcuts. Though fortunately, the default applications are likely to be the most used ones: phone, messaging, internet, and camera. To change the shortcuts in the Full version, just go to Settings – Shortcuts settings, choose which shortcut you want to change then select the application.

The only thing that is missing now is the unread messages/missed calls count which hopefully, will be added on its future updates.

Download Agile Lock for free from the Android Market or buy the full version.
