How To Stop Facebook From Sending You Emails

Posted by

I get a lot of emails everyday but most of them come from Facebook because it notifies me whenever there are actions that involves my Facebook account/profile like if someone tagged me in a photo or someone wrote on my wall, etc. Actually, I treat those mails as spam because they really flood my inbox! I know many of you also want to stop these Facebook emails that you receive everyday and I’m here to help you.

Here are the simple steps to stop Facebook from sending you emails:

1. Login to your Facebook account.

2. Go to your Settings page that you can find at the upper-right side of your Facebook homepage, beside Logout.

3. Go to Notifications tab.

4. Now uncheck those boxes that you think is not important. (Once you uncheck them, you’ll never receive email updates about them).

You're welcome hazem! :)

I comment was of great help. I just fixed my facebook settings and no more receiving notification emails. Thank you mate!

Thanks, very helpful!!!

Annoying to the bone I might add!

Every time someone commented on a post that you liked, you recieved a notification, I was beginning to "unlike" the posts I "liked" speaking of the like / unlike uption, just for the sake of not getting harrassed by facebook notifications!

...And suddenly 750 facebook annoying messages disappeared from the face of my inbox :))

Great ! Now we can turn off those annoying email notifications.
