How To Hide From Some Of Your Friends In Facebook Chat

There are some people who are complaining because there’s no “invisible” status in Facebook chat unlike other chat services so at least they can hide from some of their online friends. But actually, if you’re not in the mood to chat, you can choose “Go Offline” in Facebook chat options and all of your friends wouldn’t be able to see you online but if you just want to hide from specific people (i.e. your stalker, people you owe money) there’s an easy way to do that and I will show you how. Check this out!

1. Login to your Facebook account.

2. Create a group for the people you don’t want to see in Facebook chat. Here’s how:

• Click Friends, and click Create a List.

• Name your group (i.e. hide me from these people, make me invisible to these people). Choose the people you don’t want to see in Facebook chat. When you’re done, click Create List.

2. Now that you have a group, check your Facebook chat. You’ll noticed that the group you just created is there. Now, to hide from the people included on the group, just “turn off the switch” on the opposite side. From now on, they won’t be able to see you anymore but you’re still “online” to your other friends who are not included on the group.
