Google Docs is a cool service from Google that lets you create and edit web-based documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. You can store the documents online and edit/access them from any computer. However, to use it, you must have a Google account first. Registration is fast, easy and free but if you want to take it to a test first before you create an account, you can check out the Google Docs Demo.
The functions in demo version are very limited. You can not save the documents you created from here.

You can also try the latest feature of Google Docs – Drawing, where you can build organizational charts, flow charts, design diagrams and much more easily with its collaborative drawings editor.

You can also try the “real-time collaboration” feature of Google Docs by sharing a link to your friends.

If you were impressed with the demo, I’m sure you’ll be more impressed when you see its full features. It’s like you’re already using MS Office but web-based.

Hi, I started using Google Docs about 2 months ago and I wondering why I ever waited so long. I recommend it to anyone that wants a quick way to get started on a document. It's good to store things in the cloud too. :-)
