Foobar – Combine The Search And Address Bars In Firefox

Posted by

Foobar is a Firefox add-on that combines the search and address bars just like in Google Chrome so you can save more space in your browser’s UI.

Here’s what it looks like without Foobar:

Search Bar In Firefox

Our goal is to eliminate the search bar and integrate it with the address bar so you’ll have more space to type. To do this, we have to install Foobar. Once installed, restart your browser. The search engine icons will now be visible inside the address bar.

You can choose if you want to show search suggestions, and if you enable it, you can also choose the number of suggestions you would like to appear.

You can also change the suggestion popup style. You can choose between simple or rich style.

In simple mode, the results are in condensed format.

Foobar is a great add-on that can mimic the awesome address bar of Google Chrome. If you want your Firefox to have less clutter, this add-on can really help you.
