How To Use Drag-And-Drop Feature Of SkyDrive Using Firefox

If you have a SkyDrive account, you may notice that when you upload files using Firefox, the “drag and drop” feature of SkyDrive doesn’t work but when you use Internet Explorer, it works. So the question now is, “is there a way to use the drag and drop feature of SkyDrive using Firefox”?

Actually, the answer is YES! There’s a very easy way to do that in Firefox and all you need to do is to install an add-on called Coral IE Tab.

Coral IE Tab is an enhanced version of IE Tab which enables you to use the embedded IE engine within tabs of Mozilla Firefox. It is not only a great tool for web developers, like the old IE Tab, but also an useful tool for normal users, since you can easily switch to IE when you meet incorrectly rendered web pages in Firefox. It supports Adblock Plus in IE, and can sync cookies between IE and Firefox.

How to use drag and drop feature of SkyDrive using Firefox:

1. Install Coral IE Tab. Once installed, restart your browser. A new icon will appear on your status bar, (don’t panic!) it’s just the Coral IE Tab icon.

* If you don’t want the icon to appear on your status bar, you can go to Tools menu –> Coral IE Tab Options –> UI Prefs and uncheck Status Bar Icon.

2. Login to your SkyDrive account. Click the Coral IE Tab icon on your status bar.

Test it! Try to add some files to your SkyDrive folder.
