It’s very important for us to defrag our hard drive at least once or twice a month to prevent performance deterioration caused by file fragmentation over time. If you’re using your computer everyday, it is recommended to defrag your hard drive more often. A defrag reorganizes the fragmented files sequentially and speeds up data access. I have successfully installed O&O Defrag Professional onto my computer that runs Windows 7 64bit and it works without any problem.
My computer is much much faster now I was quite surprised must have been that year and half of use that really fragmented my PC.
