How To Disable Yahoo! Insider Pop-up In YM

I often use Yahoo! Messenger to chat with my family and friends and I also use it to transfer files to my classmates. I love using YM because it’s so easy to use and everything I need is there but what really annoys me is the Yahoo! Insider that pop-up every time I sign in to my account.

Good thing there’s an easy way to disable Yahoo! Insider from opening:

1. Login to Yahoo! Messenger with your Yahoo! ID.

2. In the Menu bar, go to Messenger then click Preferences. (Shortcut: CTRL+SHIFT+P)

3. Under General Category, uncheck “Show Yahoo! Messenger Insider.”

4. Click Apply and then OK.

That’s it! From now on, you wouldn’t see the Yahoo! Insider pop-up again every time you open your Yahoo! Messenger.
