Flickr2Facebook – Share, Upload Flickr Photos To Facebook

Flickr2Facebook is a cool service that allows you to share and upload your Flickr photos to your Facebook photo albums easily! No money involve because you can use it for free and also, no need to register or signup.

To start sharing your Flickr photos to your Facebook account, just go to Flickr2Facebook and click Login. You’ll be then asked to login to your Facebook account and allow Flickr2Facebook to access some of your account’s information that it requires to work. Once you allow it, you’ll be re-directed back to the application’s website.

The next step is to save the bookmarklet to your browser’s bookmarks toolbar. You will use this bookmarklet every time you see a Flickr photo that you want to copy to your Facebook account. Just drag the bookmarklet below to your bookmarks toolbar.

Let’s test the bookmarklet if it’s really working. Go to your Flickr account or browse any pictures in Flickr. Once you see an image that you would like to upload to your Facebook account, just click the bookmarklet.

Once you click the bookmarklet, Flickr2Facebook logo will appear. Just click the logo to start uploading the picture to your Facebook account.

Choose the album where you want the picture to be uploaded to.

That’s it! It will start uploading the picture to your Facebook account and once it’s done, you’ll be automatically transferred to the album.

Actually, there’s also another way to easily share your Flickr photos to your Facebook account and you can do it straight from your Facebook profile. How? Just login to your Facebook account, go to your Profile and click Options, then click Settings.

Under Imported Stories option, choose Flickr, enter your username and click Import.

From now on, the pictures that you will upload to your Flickr account will also be visible on your Facebook profile.

However, the picture will not be saved to your Facebook album unlike when you use Flickr2Facebook.

Taggable – Tag Your Facebook Friends Anywhere On The Web

Taggable is a very cool service that allows you to tag your Facebook buddies anywhere on the web. When I say anywhere on the web, it can be a blog post, a video on YouTube, a photo in Flickr, and etc.

There are a lot of ways to use Taggable and the simplest is by using the bookmarklet. Just drag and drop the bookmarklet below to your bookmarks toolbar and when you want to tag your Facebook friends, just click the bookmarklet.

If you’re using Firefox, you can download and install the Taggable addon.

If you’re using Greasemonkey, you can download its userscript.

How to use Taggable:

For example you’re on Flickr and you found a cute picture and you want to tag your Facebook friends, just click the Taggable button and a new window will open.

1. Click Login with Facebook.

2. Login with your Facebook account. Taggable will ask for your permission to authorize it, click Allow.

3. Start tagging your Facebook friends by typing their names in the box. When you’re done, click Tag Them!

5. Taggable will ask for your permission to publish post or comments without prompting you, click Allow Publishing.

6. (Optional) Provide some details.

7. If you choose “appears in a photo”, you’ll be able to tag your friend on a face in the photo. When you’re done tagging, click Finished Tagging.

NOTE: It will take a few hours before you see it in your Facebook news feed.

How do I remove the tag:

Just like in Facebook, you can also remove the tags of yourself anytime.

1. Go to Taggable and click Login with Facebook.

2. Under show tags for, click Pick a Friend and choose your name.

3. Click Remove Tag.

4. If you want to be notified when you have been tagged by your Facebook friends, click Tell me when I’m tagged! You can choose if you want to receive an email or subscribe to RSS feeds of your tags.

5. If you don’t want to be tagged by your Facebook friends (ever), you can completely remove yourself from the system but be very careful when using this because this action cannot be undone.

Taggable is a really great and unique way to connect people to any web pages. Now, tagging is not only for Facebook photos but to almost anything that you can find on the web.

How To Select All Your Facebook Friends In Just One-click

If you’re planning to create an event in Facebook and you want to invite all your 1,000+ friends, it’s really time-consuming and very tiring if you’re going to click each of them. Since Facebook doesn’t have “select all friends” feature, Plumbo decided to create a javascript that will let us select all Facebook friends in just one-click!

Here’s the javascript:

How to use the javascript:

1. Login to your Facebook account.

2. Try to create an event. Click “Who’s Invited?” and click Browse.

3. Your friends list will appear. To select all of them, copy-paste the javascript to your address bar and hit Enter.

4. Now, all your friends will be selected instantly!

You can also drag and drop the bookmarklet below to your bookmarks toolbar so the next time you would like to invite all your friends, just click the bookmarklet.

NOTE: You can also use the javascript to suggest a Facebook page to all your friends.

I’m sure most of you will find this script very useful and it will definitely save you hours of tedious work.

Saf.li – URL Shortener Service That Checks Links For Viruses And Phishing

There are a lot of URL shortener services out there but most of them just shorten the links without even scanning it if it has viruses, malware or other threats that can harm your computer, so when you receive a short link and when you click it, your computer might get easily infected. However, on my previous post, I showed you a solution for this problem and that is Long URL Please add-on that replaces the shortened links to their originals. In addition, I found another shortener service called Saf.li, but this one is unique because it scans the links for viruses and phishing before shortening it so you can share it safely to your friends and family!

Saf.li is just like the other free URL shortener services out there but what’s unique about this is that it scans the links for viruses and other threats so you can share the links safely on the web! The antivirus that Saf.li is using is Bit Defender.

How to use Saf.li:

1. Go to Saf.li and paste the long URL that you want to shorten inside the box.

2. Hit Enter or click Share Saf.li button.

3. Saf.li will automatically scan your link and will generate a short URL afterwards.

4. Share the link to your friends and family or to your social networking sites!

You can also use their bookmarklet so you can easily use their service. Just drag the bookmarklet below to your Bookmarks Toolbar and click it whenever you want to safely shorten the URL you’re currently browsing.

When your friend send you a short URL, I’m sure you have no idea where it links to but if you trust your friend, you’ll probably click that link. But what if that is a stranger? How will you know if the link he sent you is safe? That’s when Long URL Please comes in.

Long URL Please is a Firefox add-on that replaces short URLs with the originals so you can see where links actually link to.

How to use Long URL Please:

1. Download and install Long URL Please add-on. Once installed, restart your browser.

If you don’t want to install the add-on, you can still use Long URL Please by using their bookmarklet. Just drag the bookmarklet below to your bookmarks toolbar and click it whenever you see short URLs to replace it with their original links.

LinCut – Simple Way To Bookmark Any Websites

For me, bookmark is one of the most important features of a web browser because it lets you store any websites that you love and then you can just visit it anytime. But what if you’re using different computers and you want to check your bookmarks from your other computer, how will you do that? Actually, there’s a simple and easy way to do that, and that’s by using LinCut.

LinCut is a simple bookmark service that doesn’t require registration and you can use their service for free. You can use it to bookmark any websites, and as many as you want!

How to use LinCut:

1. Go to http://www.lincut.com/ and drag and drop the LinCut’s bookmarklet to your bookmarks toolbar.

* Below the LinCut button is your personal LinCut link and the seven numbers at the end serve as your personal ID that you can use to login to your LinCut account.

* You can check your bookmarks in any computer just by logging in to your LinCut account.

2. When you want to bookmark a website, just click the LinCut bookmarklet and a new window will pop up. You can add comments if you like, and when you’re done, just click Save.

3. To view your bookmarks, just click the LinCut bookmarklet and click the View my bookmarks link. If you want an instant access to your bookmarks, just drag and drop the “My LinCut Bookmarks” bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar. You can get it on the settings page when you view your bookmarks.

Watch YouTube Videos Without Any Distractions

YouTube tends to load slower because of the distractions around it like the comments, and related videos; I call it distractions because it’s distracting me whenever I’m watching a video. On my previous post, I’ve showed you how to activate “Turn off the Lights” feature in YouTube that fades to dark the entire page while you are watching a YouTube video as if you are in the cinema. This feature helps you focus on the video so you won’t be distracted by other elements.

It’s really nice to watch YouTube videos just by seeing the video itself alone without any distracting elements. Actually, there are a lot of ways to do this and I will show you how.
