10 Cool Android Games To Kill Boredom

Posted by

When I bought my HTC Desire HD, the first thing that comes into my mind is to install lots of applications especially games. For the past few weeks, I already tried different games; some are cool and some are just ok. So if you’re in a search to find the coolest Android games, I would like to share with you my favorite games on my Android device that can entertain you during those boring hours.

1. Angry Birds Rio

Angry Birds Rio

I’m one of the very few people who doesn’t really like playing Angry Birds but since the release of its newest version Angry Birds Rio, I started to kinda like it and in fact, I’ve been playing it for four days straight! There’s really no big difference between Rio and the original Angry Birds but I just like the new background with some 3D effects. I really wish that the other levels will be available asap.

2. Pig Rush

Pig Rush

If you love pigs then you’ll definitely love Pig Rush. The goal here is to make the pig run as far as possible away from the farm where it escaped. If you think that this is just a simple game, think again. On the way, you’ll encounter deep ravines, fire, and moving platforms. Good thing you can grab a fire hat to protect you from fire and a power up to turn into an invincible giant pig!

Pig Rush Unlock Game

To unlock other levels, you must earn points first.

3. Chalk Ball Lite

Chalk Ball Lite is a one of a kind bouncing game. You must not let the ball fall down by drawing a line with chalk. But be careful because it will not last for long and your chalk is also decreasing as you draw lines. It has a very nice interface and very fun to play!

This game is so easy to learn but very difficult to master!

4. Farm Tower

Farm Tower

This game was recommended to me by my girlfriend. The goal here is to eliminate all the blocks but you should not let the animal reach or touch the ground. It may seem easy during the first few levels but once you reach level 30 and above, things will be very different. Actually I’m stuck on level 32 and my girlfriend doesn’t want to show me the solution – arrrghh!

5. Glow Puzzle

Love playing puzzles? Glow Puzzle is an extremely addicting puzzle game with over 350 levels available. The goal here is to connect the dots in the picture using straight continuous lines. You can’t draw a line twice over the same place.

Glow Puzzle Classic

It also includes another type of game called Memory wherein you’ll be shown with the solution on how to connect the lines, then memorize it, and reproduce it the exact way. Sounds simple? Try it yourself!

Glow Puzzle Memory

This game will really test your mind and will keep you playing it for long hours.

6. Hyper Jump Lite

Hyper Jump Lite is one of the best jumping games on the Android Market. I chose this over Mega Jump since I read a lot of issues that it doesn’t work on some phones. The goal of this game is very simple – collect as many coins as you can and jump as high as possible to get more points.

Hyper Jump Lite

Just tilt your phone to collect coins, grab power ups, and dodge monsters and let’s see how high you can get!

7. Stupid Zombies

If you can’t move on from killing zombies after playing the hit game “Plants VS Zombies”, Android has an addicting zombie game for you. But this time, making them more stupid.

Stupid Zombies

Stupid Zombies Chapter

Stupid Zombies has a simple goal – to kill all the zombies using limited ammos. Every level will test your skills. Try to finish all of the 360 levels in the most effective way possible.

8. Squibble Lite

Squibble is a really fun adventure game that lets you swing, bounce, and slingshot this jelly-like creature to collect the water droplets (if I’m not mistaken) and get rid of the insects and chemicals that will block your way.

Squibble Lite

Squibble Lite World Map

It has a very nice graphics with responsive controls. First few levels are easy but I’m stuck on the fifth one – arrgghh!

Warning: Some of you might be annoyed because every time you launch Squibble, you’ll be asked to sign up for an account but don’t worry because you can click the Skip button if you don’t want to proceed with it.

9. WordSearch Unlimited Free

Word Search

WordSearch Unlimited will test your eyes’ capability to search for the words as fast as possible. It offers unlimited high quality puzzles with different themes like note paper, blackboard, blue sky, or from your own gallery.

10. Yoo Ninja! Free

Yoo Ninja! is a fast-paced gravity game with very simple one touch control but very challenging levels. You’ll jump up, go down, and avoid any obstacles that will block your way.

Yoo Ninja Free

The background sound is very nice; you’ll really feel like you’re a ninja being chased by shurikens.
